Situation or SWOT Analysis:

“Managing the marketing function begins with a complete analysis of the company’s situation. The marketer should conduct a SWOT analysis, by which it evaluates the company’s overall strengths (S), weaknesses (W), opportunities (O), and threats (T)” (Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing-Page54) For Devine Fresh our strengths would be promotions and the making process even though we are using imported water from Garland, TX and keeping our fruit refrigerated while in travel to “The Home”, what we call our manufacture. Our weakness would be for sure getting the products sent out that day from the website in time for your event start date, that is why that process is still a work in progress. Another would be getting people to physically come to the store and get the product right along with a item from the clothing store like a top, pants, jewelry, etc. “The main section of the plan presents a detailed SWOT analysis of the current marketing situation as well as potential threats and opportunities. The plan next states major objectives for the brand and outlines the specifics of a marketing strategy for achieving them.”( Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing-Page55) We feel we give a lot of opportunities like jobs, a way to get the product, and a excuse to drink whether your at home or out on the town for a night. With our employment we have our employers do a months worth of training that way they have time to really know how to make the product, put the product together for display, and send it out. We want our employers to feel confident in what they have learned to the point they don’t need any help. “Planning good strategies is only a start toward successful marketing. A brilliant marketing strategy counts for little if the company fails to implement it properly.(Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing-Page56)
